Sheng Meei Machine Mfg., Co. established in 1964, successfully developed and introduced to the global market the FLYING TIGER brand of knitting machines. Combining outstanding performance and rock-solid reliability, Flying Tiger flat knitting machines soon achieved an enviable reputation across multiple markets, including the midwestern and southern United States, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. To meet local customers?demand for flexibile, responsive product availability, the company set up distribution channels in strategic locations. Sheng Meei Machine Mfg. Co. has since achieved public listing, and has been named among the top 300 enterprises in Taiwan. More importantly, we now claim a position among the largest hand-flat knitting machine manufacturers in the world.

SHENG MEEI IN CHINA:
With vast global demands in mind, a 25,000 square meter project was successfully completed in 1992 in mainland China. Sheng Meei's 30 years industry experience and technical know-how were fully applied to this project. In addition to streamlining automatic production, fully implemented advance production facilities and CNC (Computerized Numeric Control systems) further ensure the quality and reliability of all output. With these safeguards in place, superior quality, consistent reliability, and immediate availability ?all at reasonable price ?have been readily achieved. Strong distribution channels and professional after-sales service have further consolidated Sheng Meei's market leadership.

SHENG MEEI IN THAILAND:
Recognizing the market potential for knitwear textile, a knitwear factory and sales service center with 600 employees was established in Thailand to exploit market potential. A symbol of successful strategic vertical integration, the facility's reliability and quality craftsmanship have earned a fine reputation with Japanese and American designers, while helping to drive market expansion to the USA, Canada, and EU countries and beyond. We are proud to present ourselves as the maker behind such famous labels as Georgio Armani, DKNY, Liz Claiborne, J. Crew, Donna Karen, and Issay-Miyaki.
